About Liz

Liz Stewart, is Board Certified and draws from 30 plus years of experience as an Advanced Rolf Practitioner, trainer, body awareness coach and consultant. Beyond her hands on practice, which was heavily influenced by direct students of Dr. Rolf (accented with women in the work), she provides one to one and group educational support for bodyworkers, bodywork educators, mental health professionals and coaches. Trained at The Guild For Structural Integration with legends, Peter Melchior, Emmett Hutchins, Stacy Mills, Dorothy Nolte. She was on faculty at GSI, and has guest taught at DIRI, SOMA, SKT. She is also a Certified Supervisor/Mentor through Oxford Brooks University.

Liz supports and challenges her clients to understand and make full use of themselves in their work. Liz’s approach is engaging, connective and supportive, much like the fascial network that holds our bodies together, and includes a strong emphasis on body awareness. Her understanding of tensional forces, integration, and connection creates a more joyous and creative working relationship.

Liz also works online and has for the past 13 years bringing her experiences into the “room” from Structural Integration, movement awareness, Polyvagal Theory, neural vascular techniques, Modern Group Psychotherapy, TraumaDynamics®, decoding body language and DARe Attachment Therapy and time in the Cadaver Lab. She aids her clients in learning their own body’s cues and triggers that speak in mysterious ways to help them be more productive, hopefully effective and dynamic. Liz’s work has been described as “comprehensive, deeply transformative, highly intuitive, observant, and fun.”
