Teacher Support Group
SUPPORT GROUP
Being in a cohort with other SI teachers can be life giving! When teaching bodywork it’s not uncommon to feel alone, to need input around how to trouble shoot some classroom dynamics. Often a teacher is gifted at teaching touch, but might not be great at all the other skills needed for a class to flow with ease.
Many teachers or those on a teaching path are gifted practitioners but are not educated on running groups, holding the frame, having a strong beginning, middle and closure, working with challenges that are interpersonal… the list goes on. Imagine having the training needed to provide a supportive, safe inclusive classroom.
You can do this as a one-to-one session (feel free to ask) , or in a group setting, both of which are offered online, in person or on the telephone. This is a great form of self care and continuing education filled with guidance to help you be successful in the classroom.
Teachers with minimal training in group techniques are less tired, able to keep objectivity in the foreground, able to provide productive feedback, have less of a burnout rate and overall feel better.
Why not share your experiences with others? Why not do something that helps you to gain clarity, feel supported and shine.
